Drew Leatham develops films, brings characters to life, and teaches the language of music. He's been building art that connects for over a decade.
FILM
Since 2018, Drew has carved out his niche in the indie film world, working across horror, comedy, thriller, and family genres as a production manager, assistant director, and screenwriter.
In 2024, he directed his first commercial for gaming company MADgical Productions' sci-fi deck-building game, Celeste. But it's often unexpected moments that fuel his passion: capturing bakers work their magic, dough rising and ovens roaring to match an early sun. These small moments speak to the cinematic poetry that drives his craft.
Operating in Phoenix's cost-conscious commercial market has honed Drew's production management skills to razor sharpness. Managing feature films with limited budgets demands his signature strengths: instant problem-solving, real-time schedule adjustments, and seamless coordination that keeps productions running on time. His ability to facilitate communication across departments ensures no one's time—or money—gets wasted.
PERFORMANCE
Drew made his network television debut on FOX’s Inside the Manson Cult: The Lost Tapes. He’s performed with the Arizona Roughriders as a gunslinger and stuntman, served as the Queen's chancellor at Medieval Times, and been cast as a repertory member at The Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival and with Southwest Shakespeare Company. His commercial and film roles span from an eager Texas Rangers fan, to a helpless jogger with explosives in his ankle weights. Most recently he works regularly with the nationally acclaimed theatre company Childsplay.

PIANO & MUSIC
Drew began piano lessons at age six and studied with multiple teachers. Most notably, for Drew, was Tom Young of the Berklee School of Music, whose no-nonsense approach to theory and jazz profoundly shaped his musical foundation. Throughout school Drew also played clarinet, bass, guitar, and sang.
Drew’s diverse instrumental background colors his teaching approach. Since 2015 he has taught large-group-classes as well as taught at studios and privately. He has taught piano at Chandler City Music and the Arizona Academy of Music. He continues to teach piano across the Phoenix valley to young, old, and all who love music. He also teaches beginning guitar & voice.

Custom Lessons
Drew teaches a variety of classical music and jazz standards, but it's important for students to choose some of their own music and gain a sense of ownership over their musicianship.
